Hi! Thanks for taking time to explore our site! 
This is the page where you can get to know my mother and I. First off, welcome to Eastern Oregon!
A La Grande native, I grew up at the base of the mountain you see above! Mt Emily was my playground as a child and I have since dedicated my life to the community I love!
In June 2003, I graduated from Oregon State University in Corvallis.
Desire to travel and learn a new language promted me to fill out an application that changed my life. After a rigorous process, I joined the US Peace Corps in March 2004 as an Environment and Rural Development Volunteer. I spent the following two years serving in Morocco in the small rural village of Ain Bechar. I funded several community lead development projects through grant proposals such as a women's center construction, tree distribution and planting, electricity installation and various education activities.
 
I was alone in my village, but as time passed I learned Arabic fluently and the village became my second home!
 
Service created in me an intense appreciation for community and family. Upon return, I chose to stay in my home community and partner with my mother, Brenda Jackson, an agent with more than 20 years experience in Union County.

But enough about the biz.... :) These days I enjoy spending time hiking and camping, playing music, riding my motorcycle, working on my home and traveling with my girlfriend Cori!
